Prenatal heartbeats are teeny-tiny!
I got to hear my 10.5-week-along kid-to-be’s little heartbeat for the first time today, happily thumping away inside Kate’s tum-tum. Having spent all of my life before this as an outsider to this process, I was unprepared for how magical and significant it felt.
Monkey Island 2 Remake for iPad is bloody dizzying. My mind is yanked backward and forward through time! Oh, the good old days! Oh my god, the future!

Downloading CS5 upgrade for right now. Not sure why I’m feeling so excited… oh, that’s right: improvements to this stuff directly improves my life because I spend more time in this software than I do on anything else in my world. Fingers crossed that the Flash Builder 4 / Flash CS5 integration is as smooth as I’ve been dreaming it would be.

Epic scotch run
Sometimes you have to go out and buy some fine scotch, and last night was one of those nights. Josh and I picked up a couple of bottles each.
I grabbed a bottle of The Balvenie Doublewood and a bottle of The Glenrothes Select Reserve
Josh picked up a bottle of The Macallan Sherry Oak and a bottle of The Glenlivet
